Come and join the fun! We talk Roses !!!!

“America’s Favorite Garden Roses” is the theme of the Annual Rose Show of the East Bay Rose Society, Sunday May 3rd from 1PM to 5PM at Lakeside Park Garden Center in Oakland’s Lakeside Park. Admission is free. Come to see and smell the roses in their spring glory. Vote for your favorite trophy winner as the People’s Choice.There won’t only be older kinds of roses: you’ll see striped, purple, russet (sort of brownish) roses, ones from contemporary Americans and English hybridizer David Austin, as well as miniatures, hybrid teas and old garden roses.There’ll be hundreds of blooms, as well as a silent auction, and rose plants for sale. Join us for a lovely afternoon at Lakeside Park Garden Center, 666 Bellevue Avenue in Lakesidee Park, Oakland (near Children’s Fairyland). Contact Barbara at (510) 525-4057 for details.
