WE TALK ROSES!
Our society meets every third Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM in the Lakeside Park Garden Center, Oakland CA (except November and December). Come by and visit with us ... let's talk roses!

We host public pruning demonstrations during January, rose shows in May and September, garden picnics and social gatherings all season long.

Our climate is 'mediterranean, and our soil is mostly heavy clay. Here's a list of roses that have proven to be good for our area and a list of disease-resistant roses you might try.
