EAST BAY ROSE SOCIETY EVENT PHOTOS

Our Fall 2007 Rose Show - Harvest of Roses, Septembr 8th

Karl Dost shows a very nice bloom of 'Johnny Becnel' - the Queen of Show.

'Johnn Becnel' has since been re-classed as a Floribunda - a very good idea as it has great form, but the bloom is only aobut 4" across.

Jule Gordon won the King of Show (next best Hybrid Tea entry) with 'Firefightert' - a bright red and very fragrant bloom from his Berkeley garden.

The Fall Rose Show is held at Regan Nursery in Fremont, on the Saturday after Labor Day weekend. The show is open to the public, so we expect to see YOU bring roses and enter them in this fun event.

East Bay Rose Society wishes to thank Ms. Sharon Werner from Regan Nursery for her part in the success of the rose show and for awarding the trophies to the winners.

East Bay Rose Society also holds a Spring Rose Show each year. The public is invited to attend from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, first Sunday in May, at the Lakeside Park Garden Center in Oakland.
